Club of the Week: Holiday Tours!

This week I searched for some thematic clubs! I wanted a club that celebrates the creative side of Thereians. I wanted to find a club that takes charge of helping promote others creativeness! I found exactly what I was looking for right under my nose, in the MAB meeting, no less! TessJ’s Holiday_Tours Club! Tess invites us all to join her group to participate in holiday themed tours! Mackie: Your club shows off the decorations for the holidays, what is your favorite holiday?
TessJ: Christmas is definately my favorite holiday. The community comes together on this holiday. Almost everyone that owns a lot, paz or house decorates for this holiday.
Mackie: How do you start a holiday tour?
TessJ: Planning. Planning. Planning! I have to begin planning a tour weeks in advance to rally people to participate, decorate, tie the tour together, and schedule all the events.
Mackie: How does a member join one of your tours, as a decorator?
TessJ: All anyone needs to do to participate is contact me. Email me via Theremail, or send an email to aerotess@gmail.com .
Mackie: Is your club an invite list for the tours or a decorators club?
TessJ: The club is for decorators and those that love touring the holiday homes. The only invites allowed in this club are for the tours themselves.
Mackie: What was the first holiday your club celebrated?
TessJ: The first tour hosted by Holiday Tours was Christmas 2005. Their were 17 very beautiful locations featured and the tour was a huge success.
Mackie: What is your favorite kind of property to decorate?
TessJ: I haven't found a single spot in There that doesn't have some beautiful or mystical quality about it. My freinds would tell you that as long as it doesn't "move" in this game I will decorate it.
Mackie: Do you design?
TessJ: I do not design in There. Prior to joining this game, I was involved in another chat game (Palace) and did constant designing & editing. It became an obligation and a job. I vowed to never make even so much as a tshirt in this game and so far I have stuck to this.
Mackie: What is your favorite activity in There?
TessJ: My favorite activity in the game is meeting all the diverse people in the community. I believe we have the "cream of the crop" of people worldwide involved with this game.
Mackie: How did you find There?
TessJ: My dear friend VeeTach sent me an invitation and as I affectionately remind her "dragged" me into this game. I was hooked after the first 5 minutes and I whipped out my credit card faster than you can say Clucky!
Mackie: What is your favorite place in There?
TessJ: There are so many incredible spots in world but for me, home is where the heart is. My Hermit 013 house is my "base" and where most of my There adventures begin.
Mackie: I see Tablatronix set up a color coding, for his Mapping system. I found this to be so fascinating, and wondered how we can get more members involved with holiday tours, will his program help tourists find your decorators?

Including these keywords in the title of your paz will cause them to be color coded in the teleporter list according to the color code keywords the next time your paz is surveyed (average 3-4 days ).
TessJ: Tablatronix's page, like everything else he does, is nothing short of amazing. This has been very helpful in leading people to the tour. I also utilize this page to roam around and see the decorations of those that don't join in the Holiday Tour.
Mackie: Is there anything you’d like to add?
TessJ: The Halloween Tour 2006 is being planned. If anyone with a home, neighborhood lot, or funzone is welcome to participate. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in decorating. The last day to get your location in the tour will be October 15th. The tour will begin on October 20th and run through November 1st. To participate in the tour email me with the following information:
- Your house Number,
- Name and location,
- Avatar Name, and
- Doid address if you have it (Not required but helpful).
