Find your Favorite Paintgun!
This week I decided to peruse the activities page to find the club to honor this week, my mission: I wanted to find a Paintball Event! It didn’t take long for my focus to mark my target! Robynn’s Paintball Fun Club was perfect! I love fun!

Mackie: What is the purpose of your club?
Robynn: Purpose of Paintball club was made up at that time because I owned a paintball zone called Pinnacle Hill, and now I own 3 paintball zones. I also thought when someone owned a Funzone they were suppose to make up some sort of club for whatever Type of Funzone it was such as the club Hellfish. I've owned many Funzones and Frontiers most of which I gave away for Free to people I met who seemed to want the zones more then myself. I've started many clubs just for the purpose of whatever I was using the Zone as including Spades and so forth.
Mackie: What zones do you use most to play Paintball?
Robynn: The zones used most that I have would be the Orion's Perch. Although when I owned the Veranda Before the Orion's Perch, Many many people in the Other clubs such as Hellfish would play there. I've learned that there seems to be certain types of people who play at the paintball zones.
For example, the people who are in the competitive clubs such as Hellfish or DarkForce would like to play at the Veranda if they weren't playing at Wildbilly's Blue Vista. At one point I had to set up rules and I had tons of people banned from playing just because of bad behavior and sour language but when I came up with the idea of charging a 100 t to play, these sort of individuals refused to play which was a good thing in my opinion because I didn't like their behavior or rude language. Now they hardly play at my paintball zone and they use Wildbilly’s instead. I don't always charge a fee though, lately all my zones have been Free. Now as for the paintball zone Orion's Perch, I've learned that ordinary people like to play there and if I turn up the volume on my speakers I know I won't have to worry about anyone screaming out foul language or anyone acting rudely towards others. Now after all that being said , I've been so busy with my toddlers now that I'm usually afk most of the time and finding the time to actually play a match with someone has been impossible and playing a game of cards has been totally impossible at this point in my life anyways LOL
Mackie: Do you hold meetings?
Robynn: No I don't hold any meetings, everyone is welcome to play at any of my zones and I don't bother with rules anymore and I don't have anyone banned anymore . The day I came up with charging a fee for playing at my zones or to borrow a ride at my loaner's zone, people who paid would respect others in the zone and their behavior was good.
Mackie: Is the membership open to all members?
Robynn: I don't hold the ‘club members are co host’ [events] anymore and I'm particular about who I let be a Host at my zones. The reason for this is because I don't like the Layouts changed in my zones. For example when I did allow this, the people who changed the layouts wouldn't have a layout of any kind when they did Host or Co Host.
Mackie: Do you play rated or unrated?
Robynn: All my paintball zones are rated for the people who want to level up in the skill and who also want to increase their own ratings in the game. An example of this would be the club called SkyHawks. The people who want to join their club must have a rating above 1250 and they must also have at least Renowned in the skill. I learned this a very long time ago when I owned Pinnacle Hill
Mackie: What kind of gun do you play with most?
Robynn: The most popular guns I've learned are the Tommy guns as opposed to the Flashguns. I think the Tommys must have more accuracy and speed but I don't know for sure.
Mackie: What type of Paintball game do you like best?
Robynn: The type of paintball game I like best is when people play for fun and don't worry so much about how many points they've lost, for example I remember losing up to 7 points twice in a row because I played the same person twice but it was okay with me. It was funny watching my avatar zooming all over the zone. It's funny to hear how people laugh and scream when their shooting your avatar all over the zone. Although when you’re watching someone else's avatar flying all over the zone you feel sorry for them especially when they bounce off the boundary lines LOL
Mackie: How did you find There?
Robynn: I found There through my brother who joined the game in 2003. Through him my sister and my other brother had also joined in 2004. There is the only on line game I've ever played but I've been told of a few others that are a lot like this one but they have no voice. I've learned that There is very much a Family oriented game whereas other on line games can be very adult type. The majority of people I've met in this game are young teens who also have their parents monitoring the game as they play.
Mackie: What was the first thing you bought in There?
Robynn: I don't remember the first thing I ever bought in the game but I do remember shopping like crazy for other people in the game. I loved buying for other people because it would make them so excited and happy. My brother who introduced me to the game asked me "how do you see these people?" I said I see them as “Barbiedolls” and I loved dressing them up or buying them new rides. The reason that was so funny is because my other brother named his avatar BarbieDoll when he joined and he shared it with his wife. His wife's name is Barbara LOL
Mackie: What's your favorite There Drink?
Robynn: My favorite There drink are the ones that show off a lot of animation when you drink them. I haven't actually purchased a drink though in over a year at least LOL
Mackie: What is your favorite thing to do in There?
Robynn: My favourite thing to do in There is to go Exploring to see new people and new things that are going on.
Mackie: Where is your favorite place in There?
Robynn: My favorite place in There would be Duda beach where most of the action is going on. That place has a mixture of basic members and premium members who are all interested in mingling with one another whereas Zephyr isn't such a friendly place for basic members.
Mackie: Anything you'd like to add?
Robynn: I guess what I could add is that when I have more Free time and I'm not so busy with my kids these days I'd like to actually play a real match of paintball or even a game of cards! I'm looking forward to having a chat with someone without having to leave them in mid sentence due to my toddlers needing my attention LOL
