This week for the club of the week, I am going to give a few helpful hints on how to be a happy club member!
Chances are after you have been in There a few days; you’ve experienced the warm fuzzy feeling that comes with an invite to a club! Here is a little note about how to be sure you are a member in good standing in any of the clubs you belong to!
When you sign up for a club, please be sure to check the clubs home page for their policy on invites and sending club emails. Some clubs will not approve of event invites of any kind, and some are created solely for that purpose. Be sure to ask the club leader if you are not sure. Some clubs are set up for event invites but have particular rules about what kind of invites.
For example:
There_Events_Invite_List is specifically for quality, warmly hosted events. These are for unique and fun events that every member is welcome and invited to. A host that warmly greets each person attending and helps however they can to create a fun and exciting event is the perfect example of the type of hosts we want to have in this club. This is a club not only for anyone that hosts this kind of events, but also for anyone that wants to be invited to this type of event. Warmly hosted, quality means just that, no “afk, or “away from keyboard” events, no skilling events, no yard sales, no auction sales, or other kind of sale invite. Members of this club are here for fun activities and social opportunities.
If you are a host and want promotion in the There Fun Times, you will want to be in this club. If you send your invite before Thursday, for an event the following week, we will grab that fun and slap it in the paper for everyone to see!
Do you like Yardsales? Join the Yardsale Invite List for invites to sales, and feel free to invite the members to all your fantastic sales events too! There is even a funzone!
Do you like Spades? It always seems games are always just looking for one more player! Join this club if you like to host Spades games, or if you are interested in finding a game! Need_a_Fourth_4_Spades_Invites . Whether you’re learning or legendary, if you like to play cards, then this club is for you!
Do you have a nametag? Do you love fun! Of course you answered yes to both of these questions, and I’ve a club for you! The Second annual There Summer Games kicks off in just one short week, and you had better jump on your team! Fantastic fun and activities will be hopping on your activities page, where you will find friends you never knew you had!
Many clubs will not tolerate members disregarding their club rules, please be considerate when sending invites and emails. Know that they can and will remove members not respecting their rules.
There are clubs specifically set up for leveling up, sales, spades games as well as for every vehicle and game you can think of. ! Be sure not to send other types of events to those clubs. Again, check with the club leader if you are not certain.
Finding the right club for you is just a profile click away, when you meet someone you have a lot in common with, click their profile and peek at the clubs they are in. Don’t hesitate to ask about a club your new friend is in. When you are in an event and having a fantastic time, talk to the host and ask them how to be invited to more events like the one you are in, they may even be the leader of the club they use to invite to, and would be happy to offer you an invitation, don’t be afraid to ask!
