Ever wonder how members can send you to their place by using a sign, or a book?

You can use a book or a sign, or a scroll, just make sure they have the hyperlink, and make sure you warn the person that by clicking it they will be going to another place. :)

Members helping other members are such a wonderful part of our world!  This "how to" was created when one member asked another member in the official forums how to do this.

Possible destinations are:
- Portazones
- House (immobile rentals)
- Frontier Zones
- Fun Zones
- Signs (Two Team Score Boards, Message Signs 101,201 and 301, Winner Plaques, Choose From Five Tally Signs, Kilroy Signs and Invisible Destinations)

All you need to do is replace the number behind "obj=" by the DOID number of the object you want to link to.

Paste this inside:
(http ://) webapps.prod.there.com/goto/goto?obj=XXXXXXXX

There are different ways to find that number out but the easiest for me is to stand in front of it and hold SHIFT+CTRL+D.

This will display the DOID numbers near you. If you move around a little you will see which number belongs to which object. You can turn that off by using the same key combination.

Another way to look up a DOID number for a sign or place is to open the information window for the place or object by clicking on it's object circle. Once the new window has open, once can right click on the window and select PROPERTIES for that window. The URL address for that window will also contain the DOID number for that object.
