Renting a ClubHouse

Unlike a ThereHouse or a FunZone, ClubHouses do not have deeds. They are designed to link to a club or group.  There are few important things to know about ClubHouses before you rent one:

• In order to rent a ClubHouse a group or club must be set up before the Zone rental can take place.
• You must be the leader of the Club associated with the ClubHouse.
• ClubHouses cannot be traded, auctioned or given to other members.

To create a group or club on your toolbar go to People>Find a Group. On the group home page you can form a team, start a business, create a club, establish a household, or organize your community. Click here for additional information on how to set up a Club or group in There.

You can find available ClubHouses to rent on the Places Search Page.

On your toolbar go to Places>Find a Place>Search Listings. Check the box “Include only places you can rent”. Click on the ClubHouse tab to find available houses.

You can narrow your search by region, location, description or cost of rent.

If you see a ClubHouse listed that you are interested in click Visit to view the location. It is a good idea to check out the ClubHouse and its location before you rent it.

When you visit a ClubHouse location you will teleport to the outside of the front door. You will need to click on the action tag on the door to enter the ClubHouse.

Once inside if you’d like to rent the property, click This Place>Info about “For Rent” on your toolbar.

The ClubHouse Detail Page will appear. Click Rent It to begin the rental process.  Make sure to read the Rental Agreement.

You will need to assign a Club to the Clubhouse. Again, you must be the leader of the Club. Next to Rent for Club there is a drop down menu which will display all of the Clubs that you lead.   Click the Club you’d like to associate with this ClubHouse and then click I Agree to complete the ClubHouse rental.

Click Set Up Your Place to start customizing your ClubHouse.
