ChangeMe Modes

There are two modes in ChangeMe, which let you change different aspects of your look. Wardrobe lets you see all your clothing and accessory items. You can change your clothing, footwear, accessories, hair, and cosmetic items such as colored contacts from here. Body mode lets you change your body type, head and facial features, and skin tone. To access these modes, select "ChangeMe" from your in-world menu bar and choose one of the tabs: Wardrobe or Body.

Tips

• Click an icon to toggle between items.
• Items you are currently wearing are highlighted in blue.
• Click on an item to put it on, and click on it again to take it off.
• Hold your cursor over an item to get a detailed menu which lets you take the item off and put it on, give it to someone else, or return it.
• Click the Organize button to create custom drawers for sorting your wardrobe, and to rearrange your items.
• Clothing and accessory items cannot be dropped.
• You can own items designed for a different gender, but you cannot wear them.

Like a particular combination of Wardrobe items? Save it as an Outfit Favorite so you can wear that look whenever you like. For example, you might have a green top, green shorts, and green hair that you want to save as a Saint Patrick's Day outfit. Clicking the Save button will let you name and save the outfit. It will appear in Outfit Favorites for you to access whenever you wish.

Tips

• Hold your cursor over the Outfit Favorite to get a detailed menu which lets you take the outfit off or put it on, rename the Outfit Favorite, or delete it.
• Click the Organize button to create custom drawers for sorting your outfit favorites.

During Spa Treatments you can change your skin tone, body type, and facial features. When you arrive at a Spa, walk into one of the changing rooms, towards the Treatments platform. Choose Begin.

ChangeMe will automatically launch in Body mode. Click on an icon (on the left) and move the associated sliders to change your appearance. You can customize your face shape and features, as well as change your body type and skin tone.

Use the arrow keys to move the camera, and zoom in and out.

Tips

• Click the Undo button to undo the last change you made.
• If you leave the Treatments platform without saving your changes, they will be lost and you will return to your original look.
• Friends can watch and chat with you as you change your avatar by sitting on the couch on the left-hand side of the room. They can zoom in on you by using the arrow keys.
• You can save your new look for free, but it will replace your old look. If you want to save both looks, you will need to buy the new look as a "Lookset" (see next topic).

Use Body mode in ChangeMe to change your avatar's face and body. If you want to save your body and facial changes from a treatments session you will have to save them to a Lookset. Looksets are complete sets of physical looks that you can access at anytime, applying the changes to your avatar all at once. You can choose to save changes during a Spa Treatment to the Lookset you currently have, at no cost, or save a new Lookset for a Therebucks (T) fee.

Tips

• In ChangeMe, once you have a look you like click the Save button. You can choose to save your changes to your current lookset, to a new lookset, or cancel. Please note that Lookset purchases are not refundable.
• Every user in There is allowed one free Lookset. You can change your primary Lookset as often as you like, but, unless you purchase and save your new Lookset, you will be overwriting (and losing) your previous Lookset.
• Access saved Looksets from ChangeMe's Body mode. Click on a Lookset to put it on. Hold your cursor over a Lookset to get a detailed menu that lets you take the Lookset on and off, rename it, or delete it.
• WARNING! If you delete a Lookset, you lose it permanently and you will not be refunded. You cannot delete a Lookset if it is the only one you have.
