On July 22nd, an error occurred and all rentable zones (neighborhoods, lots, houses) that are located on avman4 were all set to be paid through September 25th.
On July 29th we corrected this issue, restoring their previous paid through dates except on those zones which were due to expire in that period (7/22 through 7/29).
Because we could not reset the rental expiration date on these affected zones due to the expiration date being in the past, we have set their expiration date instead to August 5th. Any houses/neighborhood zones/neighborhood lots which would have expired and cycled between 7/22 and 7/29 will now cycle on 8/5, a total of two weeks' grace period from 7/22. For affected neighborhood zones and houses, this equates to a free two week period of rental counting from 7/22 forwards.
For lots in neighborhood zones, we had to take additional steps, as while the lots would receive two weeks' free rental as a result of this, the neighborhood owner would not necessarily receive the same two weeks on their zone. As such, the owner of neighborhood zones where these lots are rented have received a compensation payment of two weeks' worth of rent per affected lot, amount of Therebucks determined by the size of the affected lot. While the amount of the lots in question is small (56 total lots in 19 neighborhoods were affected in this way worldwide) we felt that this compensation to their neighborhood zone owners was the only fair way to recover from this incident.
Please note that Escrow display for these 56 lots will be rather messed up for a while. "Projected transfer" will not happen on the date it's scheduled to happen, as escrow will show the OLD data. We believe that this information will resync when rental actually does cycle on August 5th.
We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may cause.
