Update 6:30pm

The avatar server was brought back online earlier this afternoon and we have been carefully evaluating the situation.

Unfortunately some data was lost. Any auctions transactions, or avatar transactions for avatars homed on avman8, which happened after 12:00pm pacific time, were lost permanently and cannot be recovered. Auctions listed after that time have also been erased.

126 auctions were listed after 12pm and were lost. We are working on resolving these with refund of listing fee.

This issue may have caused false auction end emails to be sent. Auctions which were listed and would have ended between the 13th and today previously sent emails about their ending on their normal time. Today, they sent emails -again- a second time. However, other than the email being sent, we do not believe any erroneous actual transactions occurred.

Please contact technical support for any lingering issues so that we may repair them.

We have discovered that this morning's failover of all server data from the old avman8 to the new avman8 may not have been complete with regards to auctions. Auctions listed after 6/13 may not be visible.
