Returning an item for full price in ten minutes applies only to items purchased from Shop Central.
Items purchased from auctions, which are listed by real people, cannot be returned for full purchase price.
When an item is purchased from a designer's auction, the return price you will get is called the 'wholesale price'. This is the price the designer pays for the item, and anything above that price is considered the designer's profit and is not part of the item's intrinsic value.
Items that are purchased from 'single-item' auctions already exist in the world, so when you try to return those items, your return price is based on when that item originally entered the world, which may be weeks or months before the seller listed it for auction. The return price you would obtain from a return is based off of that.
The inability to return an item purchased from auctions for full purchase price is the reason we introduced the 'Try It' functionality. We strongly encourage the use of 'Try It' before buying, as any purchase from auctions will not be returnable for full price, regardless of the type of auction.
We are not able to offer refunds for items purchased from auctions and then are returned. The 'Return Policy' link that is located under the 'buy' button on each auction page states that items purchased from auctions may or may not have a return value.
