TFC Designers and Models Club!
By now you’ve heard about the biggest buzz of the summer - the There Fashion Challenge! We’re in for There’s most electrifying season yet and *you* can be a part of it all. Whether you want to enter the contest as a designer or just view and vote for the designs, there’s a place for everyone in this spectacular showcasing of skill. And now, here’s another way to join the fun:
Does your avatar have what it takes to turn heads? Can you ‘emote down a catwalk with perfect poise, or do you have the passion to learn how? We’re looking for volunteer male and female avatar models to join the TFC Designers and Models Club. Fashion Challenge Designers will choose models from this club each week to showcase their designs. The chosen models will work the catwalk during the taping of each runway show. You just might be that perfect fit for fashion and fun!
You don’t know how to be an avatar model, you say? Well, don’t worry that pretty little head of yours! Mackie will host several Catwalk Conga Courses before the Challenges begin to help you turn your promenade skills into legendary legwork. And best of all, you won’t walk off the catwalk empty handed. Every model chosen to participate in one of the official runway shows will receive a copy of the clothing designs they model during the show. They’ll also get the coveted souvenir “I worked the Runway at the There Fashion Challenge” t-shirt.
So work it, saunter on now, ‘snap 3 times in Z formation and join the club now, you sassy thing!

This week’s club of the week section is a little different, I very well can’t interview myself, so I what I am going to do is tell you a little bit about the club and why it is so important for you fun loving members to join!
The club is for the There Fashion Challenge, starting this month in There. I am sure you have heard this buzz, but get stung by not joining the club!
The call for designers competing in the challenges has passed, but the call for models has just begun, and we're going to call all summer long for any models interested in participating.
The models will be chosen from this group by the designers to showcase the items in the challenges. The designers may choose a different model each week or use the same one; it is entirely up to them for each challenge.
However, designers, don't forget that the masses vote, and will love to see their friends or themselves in that spotlight with you ;)
Models will need to attend the pre show with their designer in order to participate, if the model cannot attend, the designer will need to find another model for that week's challenge. It might behoove you to have stand in's.
Mackie will be holding Catwalk Conga classes all summer long to help teach members wanting to model how to 'emote with pizzazz. (Designers, you just might want to peek in on these events to find your models in action 'idea )
More than just TFC!
Another fun side project with this club is the collection of models and designers wanting to participate in fashion shows. You can join this club and host events with designers and models cat walking the designs, you can choose your own designers to showcase, or have a few, it’s entirely up to you! If you missed last week’s Style maker’s Showcase, you missed a lot, this was a fun event, and we had a lot of designers volunteer to show off their designs with models. The models had a great time too, and with the success of that event, I have decided to make Runway events a staple event. Anyone interested in hosting at the runway, please contact Mackie.
