When sending Club Theremail to a club that you are a member of, you may receive the following error message emailed to your email address on file:
We're Sorry!
In order to initiate a ThereMail exchange to a club, you need to be a member of that club, or of an affiliated club.
We do this to protect you and all our members from spam.
For more information about ThereMail, please see the help page, linked from ThereCentral.
For your convenience, your message is included below.
At the time you sent your email, the avatar server which controls your club could not retrieve the club membership. The operation timed out and could not be completed. As such, your membership in the club could not be verified.
To prevent spam leakthrough, in this condition Theremail defaults to "not a member".
Our engineering group and operations groups are aware of the core issue at hand and are striving constantly to improve the core issue: That avatar servers go down or reset or become nonfunctional and require resets, or become overloaded. Improvement of this situation is continually being made, though it is a long process.
Please re-send your email, and verify that you do not receive such a bounce back to make sure that it went through.
When you receive such an error, please email help@there.com with a copy and paste of the error, and give the time that you sent your email. Please note that Customer Support will use these emails to track when members receive such an error for purposes of informing Engineering and Operations, and that you may not always receive a reply to your email.
