If you participate in an official Buggy, HoverBike, HoverBoard, or HoverPack race, you will automatically earn a rating. An official race is simply any race that occurs between 2 or more members, in a FunZone that is equipped with a RaceKit. To find scheduled races, check the Events listings in There Central. The first time you complete an official race, your rating will appear as a number (in parentheses) on your profile.
You can also earn ratings if you participate in an official Paintball event. This also requires an event with two or more members in a FunZone that is equipped with a Paintball Course. To find a scheduled Paintball event, check the Events listing in There Central. The first time you complete an official match, your rating will appear as a number (in parentheses) on your profile.
Your initial rating is 1200, and increases or decreases depending on the ratings of your competitors and how well you placed against them. Do well, and your rating will go up. Lose, and your rating will go down. If you win against someone with a much higher rating than yours, your rating will increase significantly, and so on. Only certain activities have leagues and ratings associated with them. Currently, the rated activities are: Buggy racing, HoverBikes, HoverBoard racing, HoverPack racing, and Paintball.
