FunZones are like parks where you can hold events, and even charge admission. Some are perfect for having a picnic or game, while others come equipped with racekits or stages. You can use the racekit to build a track where you and your friends can race. (See: running a racecourse). Or, give a lecture, put on a fashion show, or perform a play at any FunZone with a stage. FunZones in There are run by designated Zone Operators. To reserve a spot in a FunZone for your event, you need to have permission from that Zone Operator. Some Zone Operators (including There-owned FunZones) allow everyone to host an event there. Others may restrict their FunZones to Event Hosts they select themselves. To contact the Zone Operator of a given FunZone, read the sign in front of the FunZone. It will display the name of that Zone's Operator.
To reserve a FunZone, go to ThereCentral, and select "Schedule an Event" from the Activities page. Find the perfect FunZone for the event you're planning by entering a few basic search parameters: venue type, region, event time, and event duration.
The search results page will give you a list of all the FunZones that match your criteria. Click "Select" for one of the listed FunZones, and you will be able to see a picture of the FunZone and will be ready to set up your event!
