Once in the Activity section, click on a race listing -- you'll see the name of the race event, who's running it, if there is space available, or if there is a waiting list. Each racecourse is set up to allow only one type of vehicle to race, although any kind of vehicle may drive practice laps. The types of vehicles are: Buggies, Cruiser HoverBoards, Radical HoverBoards, Freestyle HoverBoards, HoverPacks/FlutterBugs and HoverBikes. If you are not currently on the right type of vehicle, you will need to switch vehicles to join a race. If you do not have the right type of vehicle, you will need to buy or borrow one.

If the race is happening now, click Sign Up to teleport to the event. Selecting Sign Up for a future buggy race will add this event to your schedule. When the race starts, you will be invited to join and will be automatically teleported to the race.

Once you arrive at the race, walk in through the entrance. If a race is not currently underway, you can drive around the course for practice. Just drive through the start gate to begin the timer. If you want to start a race then select "Join" from the This Place menu.

Use the IM (Instant Message) box in the upper right to communicate with the other racers who are in the FunZone.

If you have never raced before, you will notice after your first race that your avatar name is now followed by a score of around 1200. This is your racing rating for that vehicle. The higher the rating, the more races you have won.

No races running? Rent a FunZone, set up a racecourse, and run your own race. You can even charge people Therebucks to race.
