Jump onto a HoverBoard for the most exciting way to cruise over the hills and valleys of There. The HoverBoard is part snowboard, surfboard, and skateboard and does some amazing tricks. There are three models of HoverBoard currently available: the Cruiser HoverBoard is great for getting around and is easier to manuever, the Radical HoverBoard is faster but requires more skill, and the Freestyle HoverBoard is specially designed for doing tricks and aerials.
Tips
- Use either standard or action mode to control your HoverBoard. (For trick mode, see below).
- HoverBoards are more manueverable in action mode.
- HoverBoards travel at one speed that is controlled with the up arrow.
- Hold the up arrow key as you would a gas pedal. If you release the key, the HoverBoard slows down just as if you took your foot off the gas.
- Pressing the down arrow slows down the speed and holding the down arrow slams on the brakes.
- Pressing the left/right arrow turns the HoverBoard in standard mode. In action mode, moving the mouse left/right also turns the HoverBoard.
- The left mouse fires the turbo. The HoverBoard will go much faster with turbo but the turbo takes time to recharge. The longer you wait between firing the turbo, the more powerful the turbo will be.
- The right mouse button makes the HoverBoard jump.
- In drive mode, arrows turn only when on the ground. When in the air, the arrows change your view, but do not affect the board's movement.
Tricks - Press and release right mouse button to get into trick mode. Timing is important. If you get the timing right, you will hear a "success" sound; otherwise you will get a "oops" sound and will not be able to do a trick.
- When in trick mode, arrow keys (and combinations) change your pose on the HoverBoard.
- When in trick mode, move the mouse (if in action mode) and the board will move in the air. If you are in standard mode, moving the mouse does not affect the board. Obviously, the coolest tricks are done in action mode.
- When in trick mode, you can move the mouse while pressing the right mouse button for even more manuevers.
