Reading Flyers, Books, and Scripts

If you see a copy of a flyer, book, or script in There, you can read it or take a copy of it by choosing the appropriate action from the item's Action Tag. Reading a publication allows you to view the information where you're standing. If you take a copy, the publication will appear in your inventory, and you can read it any time you like.

If the author of the publication has attached a fee to it, you will have to pay this fee before you can see what the author wrote. Please note that this fee is not refundable, and you will need to take up any disputes with the publication's author.

Creating Flyers, Books, and Scripts

Feeling creative? You can write your own flyers, books, and scripts. Create a flyer to advertise an event or sale. Write a book or script to share your thoughts and plots with others! All three are available in Shop Central. Once you buy them, you can edit once, save, and give copies to friends. Here's how to customize your publication:

  • Select My Things from the menu bar at the bottom of your screen and then select the item (flyer, book, or script) > Edit. You'll be able to customize the appearance and text of your publication.
  • You can also add an optional Therebucks fee to view or take a copy of your publication. Other members will have to pay the fee before they can see what you've written. This fee will automatically appear in your Therebucks balance.
  • Use the Preview button to approve your publication. If everything is the way you want it, click the Save button. You won't be able to edit it again.
  • Once you have saved your publication, give copies to others by selecting My Things from the menu bar at the bottom of your screen and then selecting the item (flyer, book, or script) > Give Copies.
  • View your publication by finding the item (flyer, book, or script) in your My Things menu and selecting Read, or via the publication's Action Tag.
