Lost? See where you are in There with the Map. It will give you information about your current location, your position on the map, as well as where everyone else is. Select Map from your My Places menu on the menu bar. The map displays several different types of locations:
- Destinations: These locations appear as blue dots on the map and display population density. To visit any of these locations, just click the "Go There Now" button.
- Hot Spots: These happening locations appear on the map when special events are going on.
- From time to time, the Map will display population density for certain special spots, without any other information: no name, no description, and no teleport link. It's up to you to find out for yourself what's there! These secret spots won't even appear on the map until someone arrives -- so be the first to get there, and establish yourself as an explorer extraordinaire!
Tips - To zoom in, click on a section of the small context map.
- To see the full map, click Zoom Out.
- Click on a place (the small blue dots) to view a brief description. If you're allowed to teleport to that location, you'll also see a "Go There Now" button which will take you to that place.
- The map also has an option to display "Where is Everyone". When you select this, icons will appear on the map. These icons vary in size (one, two, or three people wide) and colors (from yellow to bright red). The bigger the icon/redder the color, the more people there are in that area of the map/world. These icons are updated at regular intervals, but not necessarily every time you open the map.
