Ask others into an IM (Instant Message) with you, whether they are standing near you, or even if they are far away and you can't see them. To add someone to your IM, click the Invite button at the bottom of your IM window. A window will display people who are nearby -- check the names of those you want to include in your IM and click the Invite button. If you'd like to IM someone who is not listed in the nearby list, click the Search button at the bottom of the Invite to IM window. Type a name or partial name into the search box. From the search results list, select the name of the person you want to include in your IM and click Invite.
If you'd like to remove someone from your IM, click the Remove button to display a list people on the IM, then select those you want to remove from the call and click Remove. This option is only available if you originated the IM.
