Due to the way objects are classified in There, members cannot lend clothes to each other.  In order to transfer clothes to another person, it is necessary to give or trade.  What this means is that, once given, clothes can not be taken back.  They must be given back willingly by the other person (as opposed to items such as vehicles, which when loaned out, can be retrieved at any time).

A note of caution:  think twice before giving any clothes you value to another person, especially if it's someone you don't know well.  Also, keep in mind that only Premium Member accounts can give items, and they can only give items to other Premium Members.
