You can lend something you own to a buddy for any length of time. You can also retrieve the item at any time, even if it's in use by the borrower. The My Things menu located at the bottom of your screen shows your items that are not currently in your inventory. The borrower can use the item all they want, and their My Things menu will show that it is borrowed. Lending
- From the menu bar at the bottom of your screen select My Things > the item > Lend.
- If the avatar you wish to lend to is nearby, select Nearby from the information window that appears. Choose the name of the person you want to lend to from the list and click Lend. You can also choose from a list of your Buddies or type a person's name in directly.
Retrieving From the menu bar at the bottom of your screen select My Things > the item > Retrieve. The item will reappear in your My Things menu.
