Neighborhood Owners, are you ready to put your Neighborhood on the Map?  Let us add a Teleport Link to your Neighborhood Zone on ThereMaps! Teleport Links provide an easy route for prospective Lot tenants to find your Community. Whether you’re looking to attract potential tenants or just visitors, this is a great way to advertise your Neighborhood’s location.

If you would like to request a Teleport Link on the ThereMaps please read and follow the instructions and send the following information to teleportlink@thereinc.com

1. Neighborhood Owner Avatar Name: The requesting avatar must own the Neighborhood in rotation. Only the Neighborhood Owner can submit a request.

2. Name of Neighborhood Zone: If you change the name of the Community you must immediately send in a request to change the name of the Neighborhood Zone on ThereMaps.
3. Link to Neighborhood Zone: To find the link of your Neighborhood, stand directly in the Zone and on your menu bar click This Place> Info About Neighborhood Name. Copy and paste the address in the browser window of the Neighborhood Details page. Do Not submit the link to your Neighborhood Club. Do Not submit a Go To link.
4. Doid of Neighborhood: To find the doid of your Neighborhood, stand directly in the Zone and on your menu bar click This Place> Info About Neighborhood Name. Copy the nine-digit number of the URL in the address bar of the Neighborhood Details page.
5. Your Neighborhood Activities Permissions: Take a look at the Permissions tab of your Neighborhood Details Page. This Place> Info About Neighborhood Name. List each individual activity you allow in your Neighborhood Zone: Paintguns, Vehicles, Change Clothes, Pick Up Object, Drop Object and Use Forcefield.
6. Very Short Description of Neighborhood Community: The description you provide will pop up on a text bubble when you move the mouse over the green diamond Neighborhood symbol on the ThereMaps. There is a 150 character maximum for Neighborhood descriptions. Spaces, numbers and symbols count as characters. Make sure to use word count before submitting your request. Spell check, correct grammar and proper punctuation are greatly appreciated.
7. Neighborhood Region and Location: You can find this information on your Neighborhood Details page.

Make sure to include “Teleport Link Request and the name of your Neighborhood” in the subject line of the email request.

Please set the Neighborhood entry point of the Zone prior to submitting your request. You can do this by logging in, standing in your Neighborhood Zone and choosing This Place > Layout Options > Set Entry Point. This is the place where people will enter via the teleport point so choose carefully.

DO NOT SEND IN A REQUEST IF YOU PLAN TO SELL YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD ZONE WITHIN 3 WEEKS OF THE REQUESTING DATE.

If you plan to change the name of your Neighborhood Zone then it is the Owner’s responsibility to send in a request to update the information. There will be a limit of 2 information change requests per Teleport Link

If you plan to give or sell the Neighborhood Zone to another avatar you MUST send in a request to remove your Neighborhood Zone from ThereMaps. Make sure to put “Teleport Link Removal and the name of your Zone” in the email subject line. Send your removal request email to teleportlink@thereinc.com.

Please make sure that you are certain about having your Neighborhood Zone located on the ThereMaps before you make a request. A Teleport Link will bring more traffic and new people into your Neighborhood Zone. If you or your tenants prefer that Neighborhood be a more private location or if you do not want the There Community to have easy access to your Zone, it is most likely not a good idea to request a Teleport Link.

Please follow the directions provided in this article. If any of the information sent in is incorrect the request will not be processed.

Once approved, the Teleport Link request will take up to 10 – 15 business days to process.

Once your Neighborhood’s information has been added to ThereMaps, visitors will be able to search the maps, click on your Island location, check Neighborhoods in the Map Legend box, scroll over the green diamond symbol, click on the location to view a pop up text bubble. The bubble has two tabs. Under the About Tab states the Name, Owner, Link and Description of the Neighborhood Zone. The Permits tab lists Paintgun, Driving and Drop Object status for the Neighborhood Zone.
