You have a software firewall installed on your system such as Norton Internet Security, Zonealarm, McAfee Firewall, or any number of other products. Software firewalls can control access to the internet on a per-application basis.

When the update patch was applied, There.exe changed. Therefore, it was no longer the same program that was authorized to access the internet.

To fix this, please go into your firewall's control panel and delete the rule that says "There.exe is allowed to access the Internet", and then re-create it. You should contact the technical support group of the company who makes your firewall for assistance with doing this.

Once it is done, you will have a better experience in There as the firewall will allow There to better communicate with our servers.
