Dear Members:

As you may know, we have been experiencing a significant outage of There since Wednesday 10/31 at 7:45pm. Many of you have been impacted. Some members have been unable to log in, others are unable to access some of their items and this outage also affects some events and zones as well. Given the length of this outage and the gravity of the situation, we wanted to give you a more detailed update about what is going on.

The avatar server(16) that is experiencing issues was determined to have corrupt data in two tables. After attempting to resolve this problem using our standard procedures, we are now in the process of restoring this data from backups and then re-processing the changes that have occurred since the backup was created.

This may cause any of the following issues:

• Failure to login, "An Errror was encountered logging you in"
• Auctions for items hosted on that avatar server may not complete
• Portazones hosted on that avatar server may disappear temporarily
• Inventory may appear as "Not Yours"

We are working to identify this type of issue in advance and procedures to resolve the problem as soon as detected.
